Houston White Co. Steakhouse, located in Rehoboth Beach, DE, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1905 as a Delaware lumber and basket mill by Henry Houston and William White. Their timber business thrived, leading to expansion throughout the Eastern seaboard and the discovery of a groundbreaking method for making agricultural baskets. Decades later, Megan Kee, the great, great granddaughter of William White, reinvented the company in 2017. With memories of her grandfather teaching her to appreciate rare steaks, Megan decided to continue the family legacy and transformed the business into an elegant American steakhouse.
Today, Houston White Co. stands as a testament to its 113-year heritage. The original logo from 1905, featuring pine tree tops, represents cherished memories passed down through generations. With a commitment to serving a range of Prime and Wagyu cuts of beef, Domestic Lamb, and other delightful seafood, Houston White Co. continues to delight diners seeking a memorable culinary experience.

THIS visit to HW was to celebrate our 48th Wedding Anniversary. Rick Bowers, and and sidekick Kelly (our server) took outstanding care of us. We unfortunately learned that the fixture-like bartender at HW - Mike (aka: Hoagie) passes away last month. Mike was one of the best, and most personable BT's in the business. He will be sorely missed.

First time having dinner at Houston White Co., we will definitely be back. Our waiter Tyler was excellent. Great customer service, wine list, and entrees. Highly recommend the steaks, oysters, and cheese plate.

We haven’t had much luck with steak houses in Rehoboth but this one was really good. We enjoyed all of the dishes we had and our server Steve was very nice and attentive to all our needs. Overall I would recommend them for sure!

Outstanding experience with great food and service. From the moment we walked in the door wishing us a Happy Anniversary to the complimentary champagne it was perfect. We love it at Houston White and will continue to come back and highly recommend. Tyler our server was awesome. The biscuits are really good and the NY Strip and Rockfish were delicious. Get the candied bacon and end it with the peanut butter pie. Finally the Mr Belvedere is my favorite. Have had it several times.
